New OB...maybe?

I had my first prenatal appointment yesterday. To say it went great would be...well, it would be a lie. There's nothing wrong with me or babies; that wasn't the problem! I just...didn't feel very comfortable with my doctor or the approach she was taking with my pregnancy. It's probably me being silly, but I do want to find someone that I "click" with, and it was not her.

So I did some research, and it turns out the Baylor clinic downtown has a special program for multiples! It's a one-day deal with several appointments: a high-level ultrasound, nutritional consult, meeting with a genetics counselor, and consultation with a maternal fetal medicine specialist (high-risk obgyn). I signed up, and am going in early December. I am really looking forward to getting some answers geared directly for women expecting multiples; I hope it helps me have more peace of mind! I'm still contemplating switching obgyns for the duration of my prenatal care; hopefully this one-day clinic will help me decide whether that's necessary.

I know I'm probably taking a very conservative, risk-averse approach to this pregnancy compared to some other women, but hey - I'm the momma, and Momma's gonna get her way! :o)
