We are officially 7 weeks along today! We had our final visit with the fertility clinic today before switching over to our OB. It was somewhat bittersweet: though getting to see the OB means that we are out of the woods of infertility and back in the land of normal pregnancies (yes!), I think we'll really miss the fertility clinic. Our doctor, the two nurses, and the receptionist are all so personable and kind; they even know us by name at this point! They have walked with us through some pretty tough situations, and it was with their knowledge and expertise that we are so blessed to be pregnant now.
Maribel, the nurse who saw us today, made me promise to stop by in the coming months so they can all see my growing belly! How sweet is that? Thankfully, we won't be too far away - my OB's office is on the same floor in the same office building. So Maribel, I will definitely be stopping by. Thanks for being so great through the whole process!
We also had another ultrasound today. We couldn't believe how much our little ones have grown in only a week! They look awesome, and their little heartbeats were clear and unmistakable on the screen. One is measuring right on track, and the other is 2 days ahead! Looks like we may have a little overachiever on our hands! I unfortunately don't have an electronic copy of the ultrasound photos, but I'll put them up here as soon as I get it.
My weekly pregnancy email tells me that our babies are about the size of blueberries right now. So, my little blueberries, keep growing! Can't wait to see your picture again!
