Catch-up Post

I was chastised by a friend at church yesterday because I didn't post an update last week - sorry about that! I'm not as good at keeping up with this thing when I'm not at work. I'd better improve that before I go on maternity leave...I don't want to miss chronicling the lives of my new little twinkies! I promise I'll do better over Christmas break; that will be the next big test.

As of last Wednesday, we were at 10 weeks, and our babes were the size of kumquats. The size of huh-what? That's what I said, at least! I did a little research on what the heck a kumquat is, and here you go, for your edification:

Other developments of note this week were that our babies now have fingernails and hair. This is completely amazing to me! Our babies are growing so fast! (and are hopefully less orange than this photo, teeheehee). Adam and I are consistently blown away with the miracle of this pregnancy, and honestly all pregnancies, because the gift of life is always a miracle.

I have my first prenatal appointment at the new clinic tomorrow, so I'll post another update soon. I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving; we certainly did!
